Don’t miss Slabtown Cave nearby.

This amazing location has more than a handful of buildings.  Built in the mid-19th century, and used until the 1970’s, it was recently selected by the national parks, Passport in Time project.  Working with Missouri Barn Alliance and Rural Network in 2014, volunteers were able to ensure that the structures would not fall victim to the sands of time.

There are a number of geocaches in the area as well.

Make sure to travel uphill on the road after exiting.  Take the first left to see Slabtown Cave.
